ARN Lottie is a Vendix Pro Elementor widget that plays a Lottie .json or dotLottie .lottie animation from the Media Library or an external address. It offers five ways to start the animation and loads the player only when the animation comes near the screen.

Each example below is the same widget with a different Play setting, playing a small pulse animation in dotLottie format. The widget arrives without an animation of its own, so a .json or .lottie file is chosen first.

The animation plays while it is on screen and pauses again when it scrolls out of view.

The animation starts as soon as it has loaded, wherever it is on the page.

The animation plays while the pointer is over it and plays back to the start when the pointer leaves.

The animation works as a button: a click, Enter or Space plays or pauses it.

The animation follows the page scroll, from its first frame as it enters the screen to its last frame as it leaves.

  • Needs: a Lottie .json or dotLottie .lottie file of up to 5 MB, from the Media Library or an external URL. A file on another site must allow cross-origin requests (CORS).
  • Uploads: users who may upload files can add .json and .lottie files to the Media Library; only real Lottie and dotLottie files are accepted.
  • Playback: loop on by default, a speed from 0.1 to 5 and a Forward or Reverse direction. With On hover the animation can play back to the start, pause or keep playing when the pointer leaves.
  • Loading: the bundled player is loaded only when an animation comes near the screen, so a page whose animations are never seen does not download it.
  • Size: 300 px wide by default with start, center or end alignment; an uploaded .json file keeps its size, so the page reserves the right space.
  • Link: the animation can link to another page; with a link, On click playback changes to When visible.
  • Accessibility: an optional description for screen readers; without one the animation counts as decoration. Visitors who ask for reduced motion see the first frame only.
