ARN News Ticker is a Vendix Pro Elementor widget of the Newspaper module that runs headlines in a band beside a "Breaking News" label. The headlines come from your posts or from a page the editors write in the block editor, in five layouts with a scrolling, fading, sliding or typed motion.

Each example below is the same widget with a different Layout setting, showing the eight latest post titles. Point at a band to stop it.

  • Needs: the Newspaper module (Vendix → Smart Features → Newspaper Widgets) and published posts, or a page written in the block editor. While no post matches, the Elementor editor shows sample headlines and visitors see nothing.
  • Headlines From: posts, with the shared Newspaper post settings (8 by default, up to 30), or a page whose list items are the headlines. On that page the last line is shown first, "14:32 — Headline" adds a time, and the band hides when the page was not updated within 1 day, 1 week or a number of hours you set.
  • Ticker Type: breaking news band with label, headlines only, headlines with time or headlines with small images.
  • Motion: continuous scroll (60 pixels per second by default), or one at a time with a fade, a slide up or typed letter by letter (5 seconds per headline by default). The vertical list moves one line up at a time or scrolls up continuously, with 2 to 10 lines in view.
  • Label and date: the label text, a shorter label for narrow widgets, an optional pointer on the label, and the date format of the date bar.
  • Pausing: the band stops while the pointer is on it and has a pause button. When the visitor's system asks for reduced motion, nothing moves on its own: a scrolling band shows one headline at a time and arrows step through the headlines.
  • Style: label, band, headline, time, border and date colors, band height, and headline, label and card typography.
