Mailix is a webmail application from ARN Smart for cPanel and WHM servers. It reads and sends the server's own mail in English, Turkish and Arabic, downloads yearly backup archives with an offline reader, protects sign-in with two-step verification and installs as an app on phones and computers.

Modern Webmail for Every Mailbox

Give every mailbox on the server the same clear and safe workspace.

Mailboxes grow for years until the quota is full, and old mail is hard to keep anywhere else. A password alone protects the webmail sign-in, and users who read Arabic or work on a phone often get an interface that was not designed for them.

Mailix replaces that experience on the server itself. It talks directly to the mail services cPanel already runs: IMAP for reading, SMTP for sending, CardDAV for contacts and the cPanel API for filters and automatic replies. Mail stays in the mailbox on the server, and Mailix adds archives, two-step verification, three languages and a layout that works from a wide monitor to a phone.

How Mailix Works

  1. Step 1. Install it on the server.

    Run the installation script once as root. Mailix appears on the cPanel Webmail screen of every mail account on the server.

  2. Step 2. Open Mailix from Webmail.

    Users sign in to cPanel Webmail and choose Mailix. Mailix opens the mailbox with the credentials cPanel passes to it, without its own sign-in screen.

  3. Step 3. Protect the mailbox.

    After the first sign-in, Mailix suggests two-step verification. It takes about a minute with any authenticator app.

  4. Step 4. Archive, import and work in any language.

    Download old years as archives, bring mail over from other providers and switch between English, Turkish and Arabic at any time.

Mailix is delivered as one edition. It installs server-wide on cPanel and WHM, where every mail account finds it on the Webmail screen, or standalone on one domain or subdomain. Archive, import, two-step verification, the three languages and the installable app are included in both. Some features need cPanel Webmail or a standalone installation; the Setup page lists them.

The current reference is Mailix 1.2.3.

Getting Started

Start with one mailbox and the demo.

Install Mailix, open one test mailbox from cPanel Webmail and turn on two-step verification. Prepare a small archive of one year and open its reader on your computer before rolling Mailix out to all users.
