A QUIET FRAME FOR PAGES BUILT IN ELEMENTOR
Why Vendix Theme
Vendix Theme suits Elementor sites because it stays a quiet frame: colors and fonts come from Elementor or the Vendix design system, styles load only on pages that use them, the theme makes no external requests, and headers, footers and templates can come from Elementor or the Vendix plugin.
One Design Source
Set colors and fonts once, in one place.
Many themes add their own color and font panels next to Elementor's, and the two settings fight over the same page. Vendix Theme has neutral base styles and no second design panel: colors and fonts are set in Elementor Site Settings, or in the design system of a compatible plugin such as the Vendix plugin.
Theme colors and the block editor palette. When the Vendix plugin gives its design system colors, the theme colors and the block editor palette follow them; without them, the theme keeps its own palette.
Type. When the plugin gives element typography, the body text, the headings, the theme menu and the text of news posts follow its font, size per device, weight, line height, letter spacing and text transform.
A body font set for the whole site also replaces the theme font on right-to-left sites.
Loads Only What a Page Uses
Keep pages light without a performance plugin for the theme.
The base styles are split into small files, and each option loads its styles and script only on the pages that use it. The post, list and comment styles, the store and news styles, and those of the header, footer, page title, blog and post options are printed only where they are shown.
- A page whose single or archive layout a builder draws gets none of the post styles.
- The reading progress bar is drawn with CSS only.
- The base styles can be turned off in Customizer → Vendix when a project brings its own.
Builder Layouts Come First
Let Elementor or a plugin draw the parts it owns.
The theme draws a simple header, footer and page title only when no page builder layout replaces them. It supports the header, footer, single and archive locations of Elementor's Theme Builder, and plugins can print their own layouts through the same locations.
With the Vendix plugin, the Header & Footer Builder fills the theme's header and footer places, and Vendix Templates fills the single and archive places. Every page also has Page Layout options to hide the header, footer or title or to use the full width.
Store and News Without Template Copies
Style WooCommerce and news sites without overriding their files.
The store styles cover the shop, the product page, the cart, the checkout and the account pages, the WooCommerce blocks included, and the theme copies no WooCommerce templates. Updates of WooCommerce therefore do not leave outdated template copies in the theme.
News sites get a top bar, reading features and widget areas for banners and ads from the same theme, by choosing the News / Magazine site type.
Every Reading Direction
Publish in Arabic or Turkish with the same theme.
On right-to-left sites the layout, the sidebar position, the arrows and the menus follow the reading direction, and the block editor uses the right-to-left font stack. Turkish and Arabic translations of all theme texts are included, and the theme is translation ready.
Privacy by Default
Keep visitor data on the site.
Vendix Theme does not collect, store or send any personal data, and it makes no requests to external servers. The breadcrumbs are only the visible trail; structured data is left to the SEO plugin of the site.
A Practical Evaluation
- Install the theme on a test site and keep your Elementor pages as they are.
- Choose the site type and compare the header, footer and page title with your current theme.
- Check a post, a product page and the checkout on a phone.
- Look at the loaded stylesheets of a page built fully in Elementor.
Questions About Vendix Theme
Does Vendix Theme need the Vendix plugin?
No. It works on its own, with or without Elementor. It is made for the Vendix plugin: with Vendix installed, the theme opens its own places for the plugin's store and news parts, banner zones, headers, footers and templates, and follows its colors and type. See Vendix Plugin.
Does the theme have its own color and font settings?
No. Colors and fonts are set in Elementor Site Settings or in the design system of a compatible plugin, so there is one design source.
Does Vendix Theme print SEO or structured data?
No. The breadcrumbs are only the visible trail, and structured data is left to the SEO plugin of the site.
Will WooCommerce updates break the theme's store pages?
The theme copies no WooCommerce templates; it styles WooCommerce's own pages and blocks, so WooCommerce updates do not leave outdated copies in the theme.
